Bass player extraordinaire
James Kahu makes magic on a six-string, left-handed bass hand-made from a
block of kauri. Kahu was playing a benefit concert raising money for a
memorial to 15-year-old Libby Templeman, murdered in Kerikeri in November
2008. The concert was organised by Bliss Ball, 14, who had never met Libby
but felt she needed to be remembered properly.
