|Hump Ridge Track [New Zealand, 2012]|
Water Bridge, a rest stop on
the first day of the Hump Ridge Track. The tough three-day walk starts
near the southern town of Tuatapere (famous for its sausages), follows the
Southland coast (famous for frolicking Hector's dolphins and vicious
sandflies), then climbs to a ridge known as the Hump (famous for views and
bizarre rock formations), before looping back via a series of ghost towns
and timber rail viaducts.
